BSNL has presented another limited time Data STV of Rs 149 for its prepaid customers. Under this new FIFA World Cup Special Data STV 149, BSNL will give 4GB data for each day for a time of 28 days. This data plan will be valid from June 14, 2018, to July 15, 2018. This BSNL president plan will be available pan India except Mumbai and Delhi.
BSNL has announced this plan to counter JIO who is offering additional 1.5 GB data per day extra on top of its every prepaid plan untill June 30. However this Data STV149 does not give benefits like unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day like JIO plans do.

It will be interesting to see how Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Airtel come with to complete with BSNL and JIO.
